But everyone already knows why. I’m not a big facebook fan and I only come on once a year to promote a project I’m working on. This year, it’s Carry the One Radio – next year it will probably be the same reason. Speaking of the show, I am surprised by how well it has done so far. It’s only been one week and only one episode online, but, and i’m being conservative with the numbers, but the show has gotten more than 800 downloads. Some are international, in England, Taiwan, Korea, and the Middle East. Thanks to everyone who has been spreading the news.
Also – I got the show featured on Penn’s iTunes U page but apparently they will only accept episodes that are from Penn engineering. This sounds fair; it’s their server. But unfortunate for the show and for Penn. I was hoping they’d be more willing to collaborate with me in order to disseminate this information. I will try to make a case and see what happens.
In other news, my mom just found out she had a long lost relative that has been living in Philly for two years now. No one knew this?! Apparently, her grandmother’s brother is this guy’s grandfather. So, it’s not a close relation but, still blood. I’m just surprised he’s in Philly. Can’t wait to meet this guy.
This post is late coming because of I have been working on a fellowship from the National Science Foundation. It’s a competitive fellowship so I put a lot of energy into it. I can finally go back to eating at home and sleeping. It’s been affecting my work… and ping pong skills. And life, so I don’t have much to talk about that’s too exciting.
Except: the article that Jay wrote on sampling has gotten pick up by the people promoting the documentary. They featured it in on their facebook page which was pretty cool. This got me thinking – I should have more guest entries. I’m sure everyone is sick of hearing about me, me, me. I know I am. So if you want to write a piece on something cool – just shoot me an email.
